The Yogi's Song
Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche, a Tibetan master of Vajrayana Buddhism, was renowned for his powerful singing voice. The Yogi's Song is a collection of twenty-six mantra, Tibetan prayers, songs of realization and folksongs recorded with Chagdud Rinpoche in many settings during the 1980s and 1990s.
This 70-minute CD includes A Spontaneous Song of Genuine Being, selections from The Hundred Thousand Songs of Milarepa, the epic of Gesar, and other Tibetan folksongs.
Many of these tracks are rare and, prior to the release of The Yogi's Song, had only been heard by Chagdud Rinpoche's students. The recording comes with a descriptive booklet that includes song translations.
