The Judge

The Judge captures the life of a female judge to be appointed to a religious court in the Middle East. This Palestinian women was appointed in 2009 to a Shari’a court in the West Bank, Palestinian Territories. She is a mother of several children. The film's director will follow this woman through her daily life in the courts, in her home and in a society where polygamy and domestic violence are on the rise.
